CBSE denies leak of Class 12 Accountancy paper

Students alleged that a Whatsapp message doing the rounds since Wednesday matched the Set –II of the paper.

The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) Class 12 Accountancy paper was allegedly leaked on Thursday ahead of the examination.

Students alleged that a Whatsapp message doing the rounds since Wednesday matched the Set –II of the paper.

The CBSE, however, denied a leak of the paper. None of the seals of the paper packets have been tampered with, it said in a statement.

Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted, “I have received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of the Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with CBSE. ”

Swift action must be taken so that hard-working students didn’t suffer due to the ''negligence'' of the CBSE, he said.

The CBSE's Class 12 and Class 10 examinations began on March 5.
