CBI unearths racket in medical exams

The CBI has unearthed a racket in the recently held AIIMS postgraduate examinations and a veterinary test, with the arrest of seven persons.

In the All-India Pre-Veterinary Test held on May 14, the CBI registered a case against the proprietor and an employee of a private firm and others for alleged manipulation of Optical Mark Recognition sheets. The accused in connivance with the candidates printed duplicate OMR sheets bearing the same bar codes and replaced the original OMR sheets with the duplicate onesin the Veterinary Council of India office.
