A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team from New Delhi on Monday searched the office premises of Suneeta Reddy, Executive Director of Apollo Hospitals, on Road No. 2 of Banjara Hills here in connection with the 2G scam case.

A senior CBI official here confirmed to The Hindu the visit of the team, but said he did not know where it conducted searches.

Sources, however, said the team went to the offices of Ms. Reddy and Value Labs, a software services company involved in Internet applications. The latter is located in Jubilee Hills.

The CBI officials visited the office of Ms. Reddy in the backdrop of a case being booked by the agency on the agreement between private telecom company Aircel and Malaysia's Maxis Communications.

She and her husband, P. Dwarakanath Reddy, hold 26 per cent stake in Aircel through Sindya Securities and Investment Limited, founded by the couple. Ms. Reddy, a former chairperson of Aircel, was questioned by CBI on September 15 in connection with the deal. It was not known in what connection the team went to Value Labs.
