The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) interrogated the former Goa Minister, Mickky Pacheco, for more than two hours on Friday at Bambolim in north Goa in a case filed against him for allegedly acquiring U.S. visas on forged documents, and money laundering.

Mr. Pacheco, a Nationalist Congress Party MLA, told journalists waiting outside the CBI office that his mobile phones were seized and his bank accounts frozen by the CBI.

On Thursday, a team of Income Tax officials raided some of Mr. Pacheco's residential and office premises in south Goa and seized some documents pertaining to his business affairs. The CBI also raided his premises in south Goa on Wednesday, the day the case was filed.
