The former Telecom Minister, A. Raja, was questioned by the CBI on Monday. The prime accused in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case is now in the Tihar Central jail here.

The CBI also questioned the former Telecom Secretary, Siddharth Behura, and Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group's senior official Gautam Doshi.

Mr. Behura and Mr. Doshi are also lodged in the Tihar jail.

Sources in the CBI said the questioning went on for nearly three hours inside the Patiala House court compound. The agency said it wanted to interrogate the three before filing its next supplementary charge sheet in the case.

The sources said the questioning of Mr. Raja and Mr. Behura focussed on the Loop-Essar nexus, while Mr. Doshi was questioned about links with Delphi. The CBI suspects that Loop was acting as a front for Essar. The Special Court permitted the CBI to question the three accused.
