CBI conducts more searches in ambulance case

The CBI on Saturday conducted searches at the residential premises of Ravi Krishna, son of Congress MP Vayalar Ravi, and the other two directors of Ziqitza Health Care Limited in Mumbai. The case pertains to an ambulance service contract awarded to the firm by the Rajasthan government in 2010.

“Searches were conducted at the Mumbai residences of Ziqitza Health Care directors Mr. Krishna, Sweta Mangal and Naresh Jain,” said a CBI official.

After registering the case of cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy, the agency had on Friday conducted searches in Jaipur and Mumbai. Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and ex-State Health Minister Duru Miya, besides three former company directors, Rajasthan PCC chief Sachin Pilot, former Union Minister P. Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram and Mr. Krishna, have been named as accused.
