CBI closure report to come before court today

The CBI has put all kinds of false allegations upon us without any evidence: Talwars

January 03, 2011 02:25 am | Updated November 17, 2021 06:53 am IST - GHAZIABAD/NEW DELHI:

The Central Bureau of Investigation's closure report in the Aarushi murder case will come up before court on Monday even as the teenager's father Rajesh Talwar, named as the prime suspect, on Sunday said he would challenge the agency's findings.

The designated Ghaziabad court — before which the CBI filed the closure report on December 29 after two-and-a-half years of investigation — is expected to decide whether or not the case should be re-investigated.

“We are now going to move the court. I have to talk to my lawyers and we hope the court gives us justice,” Mr. Talwar said when asked about the closure report.
