The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested two Navy staffers for their alleged role in a case against a Commander and 30 other officials who are accused of using forged bills and travel papers to make refund claims.

Those arrested have been identified as Navy Fire Service employee Gandhi Behera and V. Kashilingam, a cook.

The CBI conducted searches at their Port Blair premises in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and purportedly seized forged rubber stamps of security checks at different airports.

The agency also seized used boarding passes of different airlines and ship tickets, eight hard-discs and air ticket itineraries in the name of several Navy officials meant for Leave Travel Concession claims.
