The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, wife of Prince Charles, arrived here on a private visit to a holistic centre, on Saturday.

Sources said that she was accompanied by nine others, including her daughter Laura Lopes, and they would be at the Soukya Holistic and Integrated Medical Centre at Whitefield till November 2.

The entourage is scheduled to leave in the morning of November 2, said sources in the City police, which provided security.

This is the second visit of the Duchess of Cornwall to the centre. In 2010 she stayed for a week. She was received at Bengaluru International Airport by the British Deputy High Commissioner in Bangalore, Ian Felton, police said.

“We have provided adequate security to the royal entourage staying at the wellness centre,” an official at the Tirumala Shetti Halli police station said. Around 15 police personnel have been posted in two shifts, sources said. According to a senior police official, the Duchess of Cornwall has been given “dignitaries/foreign guest” (DF) scale security.
