December 03, 2012 12:08 am | Updated 12:09 am IST - CHENNAI:

Business Line launches on Monday a special campus edition that will focus as much on major developments in the world of economy and business as on the information needs of students pursuing higher education.

A culmination of the Business Line Club lecture series, a corporate-academia interface the newspaper has been doing for several years now, the campus edition is being launched simultaneously across seven cities.

In Delhi, Sachin Pilot, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, will unveil the campus edition. In Chennai, Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice-Chairman, Cognizant; in Mumbai, Jignesh Shah, Vice-Chairman, MCX; in Kolkata, S. Narsing Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Coal India; in Bangalore Shekar Viswanathan, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor; in Hyderabad, S. Shivakumar, CEO, ITC AgriBiz Division; and in Kochi, Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM-Kozhikode, will launch it.

This unique eight-page, five days a week edition will be a friend and mentor that will guide students through college years as they get ready to take the first job or become an entrepreneur.
