Bollywood shocked

The murder of senior crime reporter J. Dey has sent shockwaves in Bollywood, with several B-town personalities expressing grief.

“My condolences to the family of the slain journalist .. Sometimes courage is never appreciated... Sad,” actor Aftab Shivdasani said on twitter.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar said, “I'm stunned and benumbed by the sad demise of J. Dey a courageous crime journalist...R.I.P.”

“I remember J. Dey as a cheery chap who covered a dirty beat. Gentle giant, we called him at the Express. Always had a juicy scoop to share!,” film critic Rajeev Masand tweeted.

Actress Minissha Lamba said: “Shocking news. Truly a sad moment! RIP Deyji.”

“The war is on. RIP J. Dey,” actor Ranvir Shorey said.

Actor Sonam Kapoor said: “Horrible and shocking.”
