The body of a newly-born child was on Wednesday found in a garbage dump in the Loni area here, police said.
According to police, the body was discovered by locals in a garbage dump close to a factory in the Arya Nagar locality.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem while further inquiries are on in the matter, police added.
