Bodies of slain policemen brought to Gadchiroli district headquarters

Bodies of all the 17 policemen, killed in a Naxal ambush at Laheri in Gadchiroli district, were brought here on Friday from the site of encounter.

The bodies have been kept at the police parade ground to enable policemen and the people to pay their last respects, police said.

Seventeen policemen, including sub inspector C S Deshmukh, were on Thursday killed in an ambush by over 150 Maoists.
