BJP leaders continue to pour in at Modi’s fast venue

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s fast for peace, unity and harmony, under ‘Sadhbhavna Mission’ entered the second day on Sunday with several BJP leaders descending at the fast venue.

Large number of people arrived at the fast venue at the Gujarat University Convention hall on Sunday morning from across the state.

Among the BJP leaders who arrived at the fast venue to extend support to Mr. Modi’s fast include BJP’s national spokesperson Prakash Javdekar, Shahnawaz Hussain, party’s Delhi chief Vijender Gupta, Jammu and Kashmir BJP in-charge Jagdish Mukhi, party’s Bihar president C.P. Thakur, BJP Mahila Morcha president Meenakshi Lekhi, besides Vijay Goel, Ashwin Chaubey, Ajit Khatri and Arun Singh.

BJP in-charge for Gujarat Balbir Punj was also present on the second day of the fast.

Besides BJP leaders, priests from various religions and sects were also present. Community leaders from across the state, including the Patidaar Samaaj and Maldhari Samaaj, also attended the second day of the fast.

Representatives of the Surat Diamond Association and Shivanand Ashram of Chennai were also present.

All of them greeted the Chief Minister and expressed their solidarity with Mr. Modi.
