The former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee secretary-general, Lalit Bhanot, and the former OC Director-General, V.K. Verma, were on Tuesday sent to the Tihar Central Jail, where they will remain till March 15. This order came after the CBI told a court here that it did not require further custody of the duo.

Senior advocate Ramesh Gupta, representing Mr. Bhanot, later said they were not opposing judicial custody and would soon decide when to move a bail application.
