Activist Kiran Bedi on Thursday questioned the need for the anti-corruption movement turning political and said Anna Hazare will be able to unite everyone fighting against corruption.
She said Mr. Hazare can unite all movements across the country and put pressure on political parties on the issue of corruption and bringing a strong Lokpal bill.
“What is the compulsion to float a party?” Ms. Bedi, who sided with Mr. Hazare on the issue of staying apolitical and continuing with the movement, said.
Mr. Hazare parted ways with Arvind Kejriwal-led group which was planning to form a party to fight corruption. Mr. Bedi said she “will never go political.”
On Wednesday, Ms. Bedi had tweeted, “Feel Anna was being expected to support political option when he was never inclined. Was it a case of misjudgement on the part of some?”

as an Anvil to Kejriwal`s hammer because whole movement is based on the
philosophy of Annaji for the removal of Corruption and provide a clean
system of governance in the country. we have to remember that the people
are affected by fear factor and the need and the greed to get
reservation, promotion, jobs,and ofcourse cash at the time of election.
We have to target the system of governance and not an individual or a
particular party.
It is unfortunate that now we have three faces i.e, Baba Ramdev,
Annaji and Arvind & Party. All corrupts united against honests but
are honests are divided against corruptions. Ms. Bedi, may i ask you?
How these corrupts will bring Jan Lokpal and other reforms in Indian
politics. Since these changes will land all corrupts in jail forever.
We need a new political order free from corruption right from the very beginning. It is your choice to be political or non-political. But do
not harm this movement since this movement is only hope for 120 crores
poor Indian be responsible, leave your all ego.
