Karnataka goes to polls

Polling got off to a brisk start across Karnataka on Sunday with voters queuing outside many polling stations to exercise their franchise in the elections to the State Assembly

I think the people who are praying to a "cow" are sadly mistaken. Due to the presence of the restraining rope around the nose, I am 100 percent confident that the animal they are seen worshiping is not a cow - it is a bullock, (not even a bull!) Should the candidate win, despite the mix-up I hope he would show better awareness, greater curiosity, good judgement and wider knowledge in the discharge of public duties!
