Team Anna’s only representative from the northeast and general secretary of the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), Akhil Gogoi, has opposed the decision of the team to form a political party.
Mr. Gogoi, also a Right to Information (RTI) activist, on Friday sent a letter through email to all members of the core committee of India Against Corruption (IAC), expressing his resentment at the move, stated the KMSS publicity secretary Kamal Medhi.
Mr. Gogoi has urged Team Anna to review the decision, and warned that otherwise the KMSS would reconsider its association with IAC.
According to Mr. Gogoi, the public support which IAC had received was only for building up a strong and sustained mass movement against rampant corruption, and not for a political party.

When existing political parties not cable to give good governance to the
nation, Anna as emerged. Whats wrong with it.
INDIA first get out of the CORRUPTION issue, first of all existing
political class not interested to do work against CORRUPTION rather than
protecting it. Then ultimately people look for alternative option. That
what Anna has taken decision.
If Govt pass Strong Jana Lok Pal, how can Ann team enter into politics.
