Wednesday’s blasts in Pune may be of low intensity but the Union government is taking it “very seriously” and probing all angles to unearth the plot behind the “coordinated act” of terror.
“We have taken it very seriously… a joint team of the National Investigation Agency [NIA] and the National Security Guard [NSG] is assisting the Maharashtra police in the investigation,” Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde told journalists here on Thursday after a security review meeting.
Mr. Shinde said he had no immediate plans to visit Pune. They were yet to ascertain the nature of the blasts and intentions behind it. “I cannot say what sort of attack it was.”
Planned act: R.K. Singh
However, Union Home Secretary R.K. Singh said the near-simultaneous blasts seem to be a planned and coordinated act. Forensic experts were examining the two unexploded IEDs. “Since the blasts took place within an area of 500 metres and a span of 45 minutes, it appears to be a coordinated act … I am sure there was a plan behind it.”
Central Forensic Science Laboratory officials are also in Pune studying the explosives. “There are three detonators in each and other peculiarity. Investigation is on … we are making progress,” Mr. Singh said.

Investigating officers are not God or magician. They cannot furnish the details on the spot which would affect the line of investigation.Investigation is the collection of evidence like circumstantial evidence, experts opinion and other sources like CCTV etc.,So it is too early to ask opinion on the incidents immediately after the occurrence and comment on the replies.
The Day Mr.Shinde taking Home ministry blasts take place all planed or may be some party not liking Shinde . Fist full of Political Party members just playing for common peoples life,it is high time the Maha Janata should come to gather and show all the political parties their actual jobs and duties.one thing to me the political leaders are unemployed they have no profession and are not sure what they should do to.In India politics and the Parliament have become the centers of threat all the MP's in the parliament behave in such way that they are the Kings and people are there slaves. For any small issue the ministry will have to plan and then action will be taken .For so many years the state and the central are not able to clean mumbai why and what are the reasons the corruption graph going high every day.If India wants peace all the state should think of there peoples and not depend on other states .
It is beyond preposterous to suggest that the Govt would want to
organize blasts to divert attention from a movement that has little
attention to begin with. Anti-social elements were behind the blast.
Hope they would be speedily apprehended. And for all who condemn the
intelligence and security services without thinking, here is a quote
from an IPS officer which might be food for some thought: "terrorists
have to win only 1 out of 100 times; but we have to win all 100 out
of 100 times." The acts of terror that are stopped in time far
outnumber those that aren't. Learn to be proud of the people who risk
their lives for our security, instead of blaming them all the time.
The meaningful simultaneous explosions is a challenge for the new Home
Minister. It is a shameful action. I hope he will take a proper action
on it.
Shinde serious on this.. lol.. Central cabinet takes it seriously and says we dont have time to look at Lokpal issue. This is an other way calming down Anna's hunger strike.
These are not low intensity blasts, these are low intensity blasts for Anna's team.
Every time the same stupid answer. How does it matter if its planned, coordinated act? Tell us what's the security lapse at your end. Why isn't the centre not having such planning and coordiantion. What do you want the people of country to understand from such statements? Looks like you have a template news release prepared for all such incidents and just change the place and dates everytime such incidents happen.
These blasts are just an attempt to diverge attention from the Team Anna
as they have again started gaining attention in the public eye once
again and the team has a massive following. The government cannot fool
the public every time.
First of all i would like to make it clear that these low intensity serial blast have nothing to do with terrorist. Terrorists are not idle to plant such low value bombs. There are two theories to describe the pune bomb blast. one theory says that someone wants to diverts minds of public from Anna hazare movement. The other theory says that someone powerful in Pune wanted to send some signal to centre that look it is just the warning otherwise something big will happen if he is ignored. Nonetheless our government is committed to pass the lokpal bill and run the government most efficiently and sure will come in power again.
Indians like fools are more interested in nuances of the name rather than the substance of the act.It was an act to terrorise and therefore , Terrorism. Whether the terrorists belong to India and controlled by local or foreign manipulators is immaterial. The main issue is whether the political class has the courage to act against their helpers, collaboraters or facilitators who belong to vote banks of congress and other parties. Bombay carnage happened when R R Patil was home minister in MH and even now he is there. Nothing has changed since Bombay mayhem. No one has been brought to justice. Only corruption and misgovernance hahe increased.
Pune blasts: engineered by Govt to end Anna protests or, a violent back
lash to local corruption and Police repression? Remember the Police
running down farmers protesting riparian rights with bullets, and when
the cops found they couldn't aim straight, they pinioned and shot
farmers dead in plain view of the TV cameras?
It looks like the act was a diversion tactic, some thing to steal the media attention when the Anna campaign is about to light up the precious media attention. Need to expect more pathetic means of politricks
