The former BJP ideologue, K.N. Govindacharya, has said Congress leader Digvijay Singh would prove to be a better prime minister than Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi, though the issue remains an internal matter of that party.
“Mr. Singh has been a minister in the Union government and Chief Minister of a big State, and thus he has a vast administrative experience,” he told reporters here.
“However, whether Mr. Gandhi would become the prime minister or not is an internal affair of the Congress,” the Rashtriya Swabhiman Andolan founder said.
About other leaders having prime minister potential, he said people such as JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj could be the better choice than Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar or Gujarat’s Narendra Modi.

There is an element of sarcasm in the utterances of Sri Govindacharya.
This was always thinking of the OLD, that young cannot be better than OLD. Last twenty years proved that young can run better than OLD. Let us welcome Rahul Gandhi.
If it was a sarcasm then it could not have been better . Well said K.N.
Govindacharya.
