Team Anna met here on Sunday to discuss its future course of action amidst their resentment against yoga guru Ramdev’s “one-up manship” despite both groups deciding to support each other in their fights.
Mr. Hazare was present at the meeting which was also attended by other prominent members, including Arvind Kejriwal, Shanti Bhushan, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi.
The meeting came against the backdrop of Team Anna expressing its disagreement in the way in which Mr. Hazare was forced to address a press meet along with Baba Ramdev after both had discussions.
Sources said a section in Team Anna is not in favour of any joint struggle with Baba Ramdev, whom they feel has a “credibility crisis” as he is facing cases, though they are not averse to supporting his agitations.
Team Anna also discussed its future course of action as government is likely to bring the Lokpal Bill in Rajya Sabha.
At the press conference in Gurgaon two days ago, Mr. Hazare and Baba Ramdev announced a series of agitations starting from May 1 followed by a joint fast at Jantar Mantar on June 3.
On May 1, Mr. Hazare will start his agitation from Shirdi while Baba Ramdev will embark on an yatra from Durg in Chhattisgarh.
After an on-and-off relationship for about an year, Mr. Hazare had announced last month that both Team Anna and Ramdev will support each other and will participate in each other’s agitations against corruption.

Team anna and baba will do well if they also include the lesson of swadeshi or indigenity and desh bhakti or patriotism along with the fight against corruption and blackmoney as the same can finish all economic problems. Both are much bothered about swiss bank accounts but are not telling a word about our costly imports of Rs 25 lac crore a year helping rich exporting economies although same can be replaced by cheaper Indian stuffs helping our own population. All problems can thus finish quickly which must be ultimate goal of Indians. If every Indian uses solar heat and light of 1 squre meter each and makes a 10 cubic meter rain water harvesting structure our energy and nonagricultural water capacities will double in a day finishing all energy and water related corruption and their scarcity. Similarlrly we needs to rage a war against imported oil and bullion use of which only help richest economies at the cost of ours by beneficially substituting by infinite cheaper indigenity.
If the objection of the team members for joint action against corruption with Ramdev as he is supposed to be facing case, then who among the team anna is free from charges (one or the other)? They are probably afraid that the milage, if the agitation is successful, may be less to team Anna considering the following that Ramdev commands world over. A sincere request to team Anna to keep aside all their assumptions and take as many people as possible on their side to fight for the good cause. Basically it the people's support that matters.
If really the Team Anna members are committed to eradicate corruption from India, they should give active support each and every person or group, fighting against the cult of corruption, like Ramdev Baba. Simply showing their resentment over Anna meeting Ramdev, will cast aspersions on their "realt intent".
