Mother Teresa, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, who died in 1997 was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2003 at the Vatican with the title 'Blessed Teresa of Calcutta'. August 26, 2011 marks the 101st birth anniversary of the Catholic nun of Albanian ethnicity and Indian citizenship and former head of the Missionaries of Charity.
