There are reports that one more abducted man has escaped from captivity in Mosul. Vikky from Hoshiarpur in Punjab reportedly contacted the Amritsar office of The Tribune newspaper in a state of panic on Friday, saying he managed to escape from his captors when they went to a mosque.

Vikkey, who has reached an army camp in Kirkura, some 40 km from Mosul, told The Tribune that ISIS militia tied the hands and legs of all hostages and were not giving them even water. He escaped because his bindings were loose. He said that contrary to what was being reported here, the conditions in Mosul were dreadful.
