Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare has congratulated Arvind Kejriwal on becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi, through a letter on Saturday morning. Mr. Kejriwal had personally invited the veteran activist for the swearing in ceremony on Friday.

Stating that he could not travel to Delhi due to his ill health, Mr. Hazare said, "I wish you and all your party members good luck. Congratulations."

The duo, who initiated the movement for Lokpal Bill in 2011, had parted ways after Mr Kejriwal formed the Aam Aadmi Party, which Mr. Hazare did not approve of.
