March 28, 2014 06:47 pm | Updated July 29, 2016 05:41 pm IST - KADAPA:

Non-teaching staff members working in the principal’s office and administrative, college development, examination and engineering wings in Yogi Vemana University here staged a pen-down strike on Friday demanding disbursal of interim relief to them.

Though the government had issued orders to Yogi Vemana University authorities to disburse interim relief from the internal resources of the university, the YVU officials have not been following the orders, YVU Non-Teaching Employees Association president M. Chenna Reddy alleged.

As the financial year would end by this month-end, the teaching and non-teaching staff would not cooperate in conduct of degree examinations due to be held shortly, he cautioned.
