May 14, 2014 10:31 pm | Updated July 08, 2016 12:19 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The YSR Congress has said that it would form the government in Andhra Pradesh winning 110 to 125 Assembly seats.

Senior party leader M.V. Mysura Reddy told a press conference here that the difference in votes between YSR Congress and Telugu Desam was 4 per cent in municipal elections, but it narrowed down to 2.9 per cent in rural local body polls. There was a sea change in political environment in the month-long period between local body and general elections which significantly shot up the chances of the YSR Congress.

Mr. Reddy expects his party to win over 20 Lok Sabha seats.
