Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked the party cadres to maintain restraint even if YSR Congress Party instigates them.

At a meeting with party senior leaders on Thursday, Mr. Naidu said that the people should be vigilant of YSR Congress Party’s destructive plans. The Opposition party was trying to instigate the people and create law and order problem. The YSR Congress Party wanted postponement of election at any cost. So, it was making all sorts of efforts to divide people on caste and religion lines. The government has “pucca information” in this regard, he said.

The TDP leaders, present at the meeting, opined that the YSR Congress Partyu was apprehensive of and worried about winning the election. YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was inciting his party workers in internal meetings. The Telugu Desam cadres have to be alert and gear up accordingly, they said.
