YSRC rules out merger with Congress

September 09, 2012 12:25 am | Updated 12:25 am IST - HYDERABAD:

YSR Congress (YSRC) has once again ruled out the possibility of its merger with any other party at any point of time and challenged the Telugu Desam Party to introduce a no-confidence motion in the Assembly against the government.

Continuing its tirade against a news agency for putting out what it called a ‘false report’ that party’s honorary president Y.S. Vijayamma has not ruled out its merger with the Congress, spokespersons Bajireddy Goverdhan and Vasireddy Padma rejected it as a politically inspired propaganda. The YSRC leaders reiterated the party’s view that the TDP had been in collusion with the Congress and dared it to introduce a no-trust motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government.
