YSRC rebuts Naidu’s criticism

August 15, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 09:15 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The YSR Congress has accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of levelling baseless charges against party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. This is nothing but an attempt to cover-up the corruption charges Mr. Naidu is facing.

YSRC spokesman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleged that out of the Rs. 3,500 crore earmarked for the Krishna Pushkarams, only Rs. 500 crore had been accounted for. The Chief Minister was trying to politicise even pushkarams by levelling charges against the opposition party. He also criticised Mr. Naidu for blaming the YSRC chief regarding the case filed in the Supreme Court on capital construction. The petition was filed by a senior journalist and it was rejected on the ground that he was not an affected party.

“The corruption in deals like Pattiseema, Amaravati, and others are well known to the people,” he said.
