YSRC MLAs lost trust in Jagan: Somireddy

April 30, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - NELLORE:

Former Minister and MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Friday said that the YSR Congress Party MLAs were deserting that party in a phased manner just because they had lost all trust in the leadership of their party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

“The opposition party MLAs are in a crisis. They are doubtful that Jagan may one day merge their party with the Congress party which has lost all credibility after the bifurcation,” said Mr. Chandramohan Reddy.

Speaking to reporters here, Mr. Reddy advised YSRC MLA Roja not to make personal comments against TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh saying that the latter never misused his position regardless of his being the son of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

‘Prime accused’

Mr. Chandramohan Reddy said that on the other hand, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy totally abused his power during his father Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s term and he figured as prime accused in 11 cases booked by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate.
