YSRC, Congress candidates file nominations

The nominees of the YSR Congress and Congress for the Rajahmundry Parliament seat and for the city, Jai Samaikyandhra Party’s candidate for Rajahmundry Assembly segment filed their nominations here on Wednesday.

Boddu Venkataramana Chowdary, son of former MLC Boddu Bhaskararama Rao of Peddapuram, handed over two sets of nomination papers to Assistant Returning Officer S. Ravindrababu at Sub-Collector’s Office on Wednesday. The immovable properties that Mr. Chowdary had shown in his affidavit were worth Rs.11.48 crore while he had movable properties worth Rs.1.67 crore.

Former MLC and Congress candidate Kandula Lakshmi Durgesh filed his nomination papers with Rajahmundry Parliament Returning Officer Gandham Chandrudu. Mr. Duresh showed Rs.10.3 crore as his immovable property and Rs.28.35 lakh as movable property.

YSRC candidate Bommana Rajkumar filed his papers for the Rajahmundry City Assembly constituency with Assistant Returning Officer V. Nanraj at Rural MRO office. On the other hand, Jai Samaikyandhra Party candidate for Rajahmundry Assembly constituency S. Sivarama Subrahmanyam filed papers with Assistant Returning Officer V. Nanraj. He was accompanied by former MP and JSP vice-president Vundavalli Arun Kumar and others.
