YSR Congress wants Irrigation Board at Kurnool

YSR Congress Party MLAs Gouru Charita and Izaiah urged Minister for Major Irrigation Devineni Umamaheswara Rao to locate the Krishna Water Board at Kurnool considering the importance of the place.

Ms. Charita said the villages in Panyam constitutency would benefit if field channels were developed without delay under the Hundri-Neeva project.

The Gorakal reservoir would be complete if two regulators were established to transmit water into the reservoir. She said the Velagamanu project was important for villages in Gadivemula mandal which should be completed without further delay.

The Minister promised the MLAs that he would act immediately wherever possible considering the resources availability.
