A couple of professionally done pamphlets, sprinkled generously with photographs of the late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and his family members, will now complement the efforts of YSR Congress in putting forth its version on the numerous accusations it faces and in tracing the pro-people policies during the government led by Rajasekhara Reddy.

Enclosed in a glossy folder, several thousand copies of the pamphlets titled ‘Kutradarulara khabardar’ and ‘Kadupu kotti khajana nimputara’ were distributed among party cadres and leaders from Boath Assembly constituency in the district who came to attend the meeting addressed by party's honorary president Y.S. Vijayalaxmi on Monday.

The four-page main pamphlet, which warns ‘conspirators’, seeks to pick holes in the way the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has handled the illegal investments cases against YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

It reiterates the party’s accusation that the Congress has conspired to continue keeping Rajasekhara Reddy’s son in jail.

This pamphlet also ‘exposes’ Tellugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu of ‘match fixing’ with the Congress. The former is accused of failing as a responsible opposition party in the Assembly by ‘saving’ the ruling party when it faced a no confidence motion.

The second leaflet talks in detail about the inflation by drawing a comparison between governments led by Rajasekhara Reddy, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and the present one led by N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. Using tables, the YSR Congress has tried to explain to the people not only about the late Chief Minister’s endeavour to keep inflation under check, but also the quantum of additional financial burden imposed on people by price rise under the TDP and the present regimes.
