A youth committed suicide right in front of the Tahsildar’s office at Narayanavanam in Chittoor district after shouting slogans in favour of ‘Samaikhyandhra Pradesh’ on Wednesday.
A. Devarajulu (24), an unemployed engineering graduate, arrived at the spot, held TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Union Ministers P. Chidambaram, Sushil Kumar Shinde and Digvijay Singh responsible for the State’s split and consumed pesticide.
He was immediately rushed to the Puttur Government Hopsital, where he died. Based on his declaration, a case was booked.
