Vexed by the harassment by her liquor-addict husband, a woman threw her two children into a well and later jumped into it at Vaddekandriga village of S.R. Puram mandal on Friday night.
Police said Krishnamma (25) married Vijaykumar (32) five years ago. Vijaykumar had been beating the woman and frequently sending her to her parents to get money. The couple used to work as stone-cutters. The woman, along with her daughter Dharani (4) and son Suresh (2), was seen moving near the well on Friday .
Finding her missing since Friday night, the neighbours grew suspicious and went searching for her. They found the bodies floating in the well. The bodies were fished out on Saturday and have been sent for autopsy.A case has been registered.
