A woman allegedly killed both her children before hanging herself in Gooty mandal of Anantapur district on Tuesday.
According to the Gooty police, Netravati (26) married Raghu of the Chetnepalli village, near Gooty town, about 10 years ago.
The couple have two children, Mukesh (6) and Murari (8).
Extra-marital affair
However, they reportedlu started having problems over Raghu’s alleged extra-marital affair.
With fights between the couple becoming frequent, Netravati used to allegedly threaten suicide if she and her children were not cared for. The elders solved the problem a year ago, after which the couple started to live peacefully for a few months.
But on Tuesday, Netravati hanged both her children before hanging herself to death.
Her husband rushed them to government general hospital at Gooty, where they were declared brought dead.
A case has been booked against the husband for harassing his wife and the investigation on.
