‘We will restore the glory of Telugu-speaking people’

Former Chief Minister and founder president of the Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday described all political parties in the State as ‘enemies to the case of a united State’.

Speaking at the road show in Kadiri town on the second day of his two-day tour of the district, he said that the BJP, TDP, YSRC and Congress were not only the cause for the bifurcation of the State but also party to the conspiracy to divide the State and its people.

“Give us your support and vote for us. We will do what we have promised to do - unite the State and restore the glory of the Telugu-speaking people,” he said, even as he was cheered on by sizeable crowds in Kadiri town.

Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the party’s candidate for the Assembly constituency would be declared in the next week.

Meanwhile, former MLA from Kadiri Assembly constituency, Jonna Ramiah, is expected to contest on a JSP ticket.

Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy will move on to Chittoor district from Kadiri after finishing the road show in the afternoon.
