Vizianagaram enters Limca Book of Records

10,000 toilets constructed in 100 hours in the district in March last

Vizianagaram district has found a place in Limca Book of Records for its achievement in construction of 10,000 toilets in 100 hours in March last.

The feat was entered in the latest records of Limca Book, which was released last week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appreciated the district administration for achieving the target in his ‘Man ki Baat’ programme on All India Radio. Collector Vivek Yadav said that it had become possible with the active participation of people, officials,and elected representatives, according to an official release.
