The three-day annual Vasanthotsavam on Thursday concluded on an impressive note at the temple of Lord Venkateswara.

The processional deities of Lord Malayappa, His two divine consorts along with those of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman besides Lord Krishna and Rukmini were taken out in a procession to the venue – Vasanthotsava mandapam where the priests ceremoniously conducted ‘Snapanan Thirumanjanam’ on them. Both the seers of the hill temple personally took part in the festival that lasted for more than two hours in the afternoon. Later, the deities were again taken back to the temple in a grand procession on three different golden palanquins providing a celestial feast to the eyes of the devotees.
