“Soundarya Lahari” -- a spiritual organisation, which is conducting Devi Navaratri festival in a spectacular way in TTD Kalyanamantapam in Rajahmundry for the past three years has announced that they are going to give “Vagdevi Mantra Deeksha” (Goddess Saraswathi Deeksha) to all students on Wednesday.
Addressing media conference on Tuesday evening, Sri Sri Karunamaya Guruji said that on the eve of Goddess Saraswathi alankaram during Navarathri, he would administer deeksha to motivate children to learn more and acquire enormous knowledge with grace and blessings of the Goddess Saraswathi. He said that he would write “Beejaksharams” with Braamhi root, which was mentioned in Vedas.
The Sarannavaratri festival was started in TTD three days ago and daily Ganapati, Rudra and Chandi homams are being conducted by Brahma Sri Pidaparti Subrahmanya Sarma. During the press conference he explained how the Shodashopachara Poojas are being conducted with custom and tradition during the nine days and their importance.
Guduri Radhika, N. Aruna and Rajagopal who are the organisers of the Soundarya Lahari programmes in TTD said that the Maha Sri Chakra design on the last night drew large crowds and many people visiting the main mandapam daily.
On October 3, there will be Poornahuthi and Parvathi Kalyanam which would be attended by Minister for Endowments P. Manikyala Rao.
