‘Use IDS to declare undisclosed income’

The Income Declaration Scheme-2016 is a golden opportunity for citizens possessing undisclosed income to bring it under the tax umbrella and protect themselves from scrutiny and enquiry, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Kurnool, K. Ranga Rao has said.

Addressing a citizen and member awareness programme on the IDS at Chemists Bhavan in Kurnool on Saturday evening, Mr. Ranga Rao exhorted chartered accountants, tax practitioners and auditors to encourage citizens to declare their undisclosed income by September 30.
