Unease in TDP-BJP ties comes to fore

March 03, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - TIRUPATI:

The unease in the relations between the BJP and the TDP came to the fore with TDP leaders undertaking a mammoth ‘Upavasa Deeksha’ on Monday to register their protest against the Centre giving a raw deal to the State in the Union Budget.

Led by TDP State Secretary G. Narasimha Yadav, the fast camp was attended by urologist C. Subramanyam, Tirupati Coop. Bank Chairman Pulugoru Murali, and BC Cell State Secretary E. Hemanth Kumar. Newly-elected legislator M. Suguna too was present.

Mr. Yadav pointed out that the BJP was equally responsible, as the UPA dispensation was, for thrusting bifurcation on A.P.
