Two rallyists die of heart attack

Lawrence, a teacher in a government school at Khajipet in Mydukur mandal, suffered a heart attack while participating in a relay hunger strike in support of the united Andhra movement and later died at the SVIMS hospital in Tirupati on Monday. Lawrence is a native of Bachumpalli near Kadapa.

Meanwhile, J. Sundara Raju (45), of YSR Colony in Lakkireddipalle, participated in a rally at Lakkireddipalle and had a heart attack in his house on Sunday evening. He was rushed to the government hospital at Rayachoti but died while treatment was being given.

Sarpanch ends life

Thambala Hanumanthu, sarpanch of Rajakunta in Chitvel mandal, ended his life by hanging himself in his house on Monday. He left behind a suicide note stating that he was giving up his life in support of the united Andhra movement, according to police.
