Two children die in effluent tank of Heritage unit

Two school-going children died on Monday in an effluent tank of Heritage Milk’s bulk unit at Yendagandi village, about 12 km from here.

According to sources, Murapoka Venkata Sai Anil Kumar, a student of Class 7, and his friend, Singavarapu Kare Rao Kumar a student of Class 5, went to rear cattle on the outskirts of Yendagandi village around 8 a.m.

When one of the animals entered the tank, the two boys followed the animal and drowned in the tank.
