The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management has resolved to initiate measures to effectively implement the projects that are in various stages of operation.

The TTD runs 10 important projects that are meant to serve the specific purpose of taking spiritualism to the people.

At the review meeting held here, Joint Executive Officer Pola Bhaskar said details of the projects should be computerised for better monitoring and periodical review.

“Details of the projects and books that are published should be maintained in a computer format. There is a need to reprint popular books brought out in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English for the benefit of devotees,” he said.

Mr. Bhaskar also highlighted the need to publish books that directly depict the importance of the Tirumala temple, the glory of Lord Venkateswara, and the ‘sthala mahatyam’.

He wanted the officials to prepare an action plan on the calendar of events of the respective projects ahead of the next meeting.

Heads of the various projects, Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat Special Officer S. Raghunath, Deputy Executive Officers — Siva Reddy and Sarada — were present.
