TTD pays Rs. 20 crore to MCT for water supply

The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has paid Rs.20 crore to the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) for supplying water to the organisation. TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao handed over the cheque for the amount to MCT Commissioner V. Vinay Chand, at the TTD administrative building, here on Saturday.

He later urged Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar and Mr. Vinay Chand to sort out the issues linked to the payments, by taking the legal opinion in an amicable manner. TTD’s CE Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO O. Balaji, Estates Officer Balakrishna and others were present.

‘Pushya Bahula Panchami’

Meanwhile, S.V. College of Music and Dance observed the auspicious ‘Pushya Bahula Panchami’ of Saint Poet Sri Tyagaraja Swamy, here on Saturday.

The students of the college rendered Tyagaraja Pancharathna Kritis, Utsava Sampradaya Keertanas and Divya Nama Sankeertanas on this occasion.
