Elaborate arrangements are being made by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management to meet the requirements of the pilgrims during the summer vacation which is expected to peak after April 15 with the completion of the Secondary School Examinations.

With a wish to bring in a kind of respite to the thronging devout from the scorching heat the management has decided to raise summer pandals at all vulnerable points where the congregation of the pilgrims is likely to be heavy and also put up khus grass mats for the benefit of pilgrims waiting in the queue lines outside the Vaikuntam queue complexes. The supervisory task has been entrusted to the Health Officer

While the engineering officials were directed to ensure round-the-clock supply of drinking water the potu (temple kitchen) officials were asked to maintain surplus stocks of laddus to meet the demand. The EDP and electricity officials were instructed to ensure uninterrupted service in the computer network as well as in the supply of power the medical officials were directed to stay themselves equipped with additional stocks of glucose to meet any kind of exigency from the pilgrim fraternity.
