Dr. Raghavamma and Bhaskar Rao Sports Research Foundation on Friday felicitated Table Tennis Federation of India vice-president and A.P. T.T. Association president V. Bhaskarram and others in a function organised here on Friday.
Executive Director of Foundation and leading physician Dr. C.V.S. Sastry and other members participated in this function.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Sastry said that Mr. Bhaskarram and his team have successfully conducted two events like South Zone and all India Sub-Junior events in 2011 and 2014 and brought laurels and recognition to Rajahmundry in international sports arena. He pointed out that even though there is no indoor stadium or big outdoor stadium in the city, Mr. Bhaskarram and his team have made arrangements in kalyanamantapam and made it as a makeshift sports complex with international standards.
