The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation has announced seven daily tour packages from different parts of the State to Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Krishna districts, for the Krishna Pushkarams from August 12 to 23, with tariff that covers only transportation.
Accordingly, a package to help ferry pilgrims from here to Beechpalli and Alampur will leave at 6.45 a.m. from Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet and return at 9.30 p.m. the same day after touching the Krishna Ghat at Beechpalli and a Pushkar bath before a darshan at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple.
It will also halt at the Haritha Hotel in Alampur after which they can pray at the Sri Jogulamba Devi Temple (a Shakthi Peetham) before coming back to the State capital.
Another bus will leave with passengers at 6.30 a.m. to Somasila near Kollapur in Mahabubnagar district for a ‘Pushkar Bath’ and a jolly boating ride (if time permits). It will reach Hyderabad at 9 p.m.
