Trust to quench thirst of cattle

Pantam Satyanarayana Trust (PST) is going to open flat cement water drums all around the city and also in Rajamahendravaram rural mandal. During an inaugural meeting at Devi Chowk on Saturday, Pantam Kondala Rao, chairman of CCC channel, said that they have identified 121 centres in the city and suburbs and every day the trust’s water tankers’ will fill these cement drums twice or thrice a day.

“This year, the summer is very severe and it’s the primary responsibility of every human being to see that no cattle or any other dog, cat should die due to lack of water,” he said. He appealed to all residents to put water on their balconies and rooftops for birds throughout the year and also ensure that pets are not neglected. He asked the people who are interested to keep the cement water drums in their areas can approach PST. The programme was coordinated by Bulusu Prakash, Nanduri Ramana, Garlapati Suryanarayana, Ratnamala, Isukapalli Subrahmanyam, Yenumula Rangababu and others.
